We are looking for our future Systems Analyst Lvl3 to join our teams.
🎯 Your Missions / Tasks :
- Create and modify code and software for the RCMP MPS application.
- Create and modify screens and reports within the RCMP MPS environment.
- Gather and analyze data to conduct studies establishing the technical and economic feasibility of proposed computer systems enhancements for MPS, and develop functional and system design specifications related to MPS.
- Design methods and procedures for small computer systems and sub-systems of larger systems, specifically within or integrating with MPS.
- Develop, test, and implement small computer systems and sub-systems of larger systems, specifically within or integrating with MPS.
- Produce forms, manuals, programs, data files, and procedures for MPS systems and/or applications.
- Create process flow manuals for online screens (English and French screens).
- Document the COBOL CICS programs (PAYTCICS, PENTCICS, TADSCICS, and PAYOCICS).
- Create process flow manuals for payroll batch programs.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) and integration testing.
- Adhere to and contribute to the Service Level Agreement with the business.
- Document their payroll system expertise and knowledge artifacts for the team.
📝 Your Profile / Requirements :
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience within the last ten (10) years, leading system analysis for large-scale payroll systems performing the tasks listed below:
- Deep expertise in payroll policies, pay structures, retroactive pay, leave payouts, and system audits.
- Leading workshops, validating business rules, modeling logic and workflows.
- Creates functional architecture, test case scenarios, and leading traceability mapping.
- Coordinates with multiple stakeholders, including developers and Quality Assurance personnel (QA).
- Defines test strategies, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and signing off on business functionality.
- Evaluates complex business issues, assessing regulatory updates, and leading root cause analysis.
- Maintaining system documentation, decision logs, and business rules, and libraries.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the ten (10) years, contributing to the development of functional specifications for computer systems development, design, and implementation
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience, gained within the last ten (10) years, contributing to and/or leading the development of functional specifications for computer systems development, design, and implementation.
- One of the following qualifications :
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or a related field,
OR
A Post-Secondary certification in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis, and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a System Analyst,
OR
Holds a relevant professional certification such as ITL, CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional), or PMP, and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
